Granite worktops need no introduction.  Their beauty and durability speak for themselves but the questions we are most frequently asked are:

How much do they cost?

Most granites are from £120 to £250 per running metre of worktop (ie 600mm wide) x 30mm thick to which the following are optional add ons:

Polished sink cut out for undermounted sink from      £150
Polished edge cut outs for a Belfast sink from            £100
Cut out for a sawn (drop in ) sink or hob from           £  40
Tap holes each                                                           £  10
Recessed draining board area from                           £400

How do we proceed?

  1. Let us have a drawing of your proposed kitchen layout from which we can give you an estimate, it doesn’t have to be a technical drawing, or even to scale, as long as the measurements are shown and the approximate position of any cut outs for sinks etc.
  2. Choose your granite, which means finding your way to us, so please see the map and directions. We have about 70 different types in stock, they are outside so please be prepared in bad weather.
  3. When your kitchen is installed and the units are fixed in place we come out to make MDF templates.We ask for a £200 deposit when booking a template.
  4. From the templates we confirm the price and at that point ask for the balance in full before cutting the kitchen.  
  5. We agree a fitting date with you, usually about two weeks after the template is made.
  6. Fitting usually takes half a day.  Once our team has finished you will probably need to get your plumber to connect any sinks and taps as we are stone-fitters and are not insured to do plumbing gas or electrics.
